 Loss or not, Dixon got some senior leadership from  JJ Gulat and  Sean Delaney.  Gulat rushed for 219 yards and three  touchdowns, while  Delaney rushed for 167 yards while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Gulat's rushing production has been exceptional  for a while as that marked his 13th straight game with at least 103  rushing yards dating back to last season.
  Jayden Howard produced another solid  performance rushing for 142 yards and three  TDs on only eight carries for Havelock. Howard has become a key player for the Rams: the team is 3-1 when he posts  at  least  80  rushing yards, but 0-4 otherwise.
Dixon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Havelock,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  games. Dixon will head out to  square off against Northside - Jacksonville  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 919 yards in their previous games. As for Havelock, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Swansboro  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Rams are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
