The Canyon View Falcons won the last time they faced the North Sevier Wolves, and things went their way on Friday too. Canyon View breezed by North Sevier on the road to the tune of 68-38. With that win, Canyon View brought their scoring average up to 53.7 points per game.
Canyon View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bethanee Vargas, who scored 11 points along with 5 steals. Vargas is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Maya Nichols, who scored 14 points along with 5 steals.
Canyon View now has a winning record of 2-1. As for North Sevier, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canyon View's road trip will continue as they head out to face Kanab at 4:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Kanab will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for North Sevier, they will head out on the road to face off against South Sevier at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully South Sevier focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday.
