The Concordia Fighting Orioles lost against the Lone Jack Mules back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Concordia fell 63-53 to Lone Jack. Concordia has struggled against Lone Jack recently, as their match on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Garrett Mantzey was his usual excellent self, scoring 29 points along with six rebounds for Lone Jack. Another player making a difference was Ethan Rogers, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Concordia's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Lone Jack, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-8.
Concordia and Santa Fe will face off at 8:00 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Concordia is facing Santa Fe at the right time seeing as Santa Fe is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Lone Jack, they will be playing at home against Summit Christian Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Summit Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lone Jack in Missouri (Summit Christian Academy is ranked 79th, while Lone Jack is ranked 335th).
