Calkins was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-5 with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Kal Abernethy was  incredible,  going 4-for-4 with three  runs and four  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Dominic DeAngelo, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Northeastern Clinton now  has a losing record at 7-8. As for Plattsburgh, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.
 While Northeastern Clinton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
