Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cedarville). Everything went their way against the Mulberry Yellowjackets on Monday as they made off with a 16-4 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.

The victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 2-8. As for Mulberry, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Cedarville will square off against Paris at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mulberry, they will venture away from home to face off against County Line at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
