After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Southern Fulton, McConnellsburg was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Shanksville Stonycreek Vikings as they made off with  an  18-0 victory. That looming  18-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Spartans yet this  season.
 Reese Alexander was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, eight  RBI,  and three  runs. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hoyt Glenn, who  went 3-for-5 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
 McConnellsburg was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .455. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
McConnellsburg is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record  this season.
