Jacobs wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Hawthorne kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for Hawthorne: they were averaging 5.1 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 10.6.

Hawthorne's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7. As for Peniel Baptist Academy, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hawthorne has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Peniel Baptist Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Hawthorne took their win against Peniel Baptist Academy in their previous meeting on March 6th by a conclusive 15-2. Will Hawthorne repeat their success, or does Peniel Baptist Academy has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
