Last Friday, Kennedy put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They took the contest and then some with a 47-7 victory over Davenport West.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 54 points the game before, Washington faltered in their match last Friday. They were given a punishing 0-35 defeat at the hands of Bettendorf. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Kennedy's win lifted them to 3-2 while Washington's loss dropped them down to 2-3. We'll see if Kennedy's success rolls on or if Washington are able to steal their positive momentum.
