The Davis Aerospace Tech Aviators's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They escaped with a win against Varsity Opponent by the margin of a single free throw, 36-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Davis Aerospace Tech also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Davis Aerospace Tech can attribute much of their success to Davion Buford, who scored 17 points. It was the first time this season that Buford scored 15 or more points.
Davis Aerospace Tech's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Varsity Opponent, they dropped their record down to 392-1450-2 with that loss, which was their 30th straight on the road.
Davis Aerospace Tech will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tournament Team at 7:00 p.m. on February 26th. As for Varsity Opponent, they will be playing at home against American Youth Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
