After a string of five wins, Ada-Borup's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Pelican Rapids Vikings by a score of 64-61. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ada-Borup lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Austin McCraven, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 17 points in addition to five assists and five boards. McCraven has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Mason Larson, who went 6 of 12 en route to 16 points and six rebounds.

Even though they lost, Ada-Borup smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.
