Wasilewski played well for Mount Carmel in the victory. The junior quarterback ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored eight touchdowns on the season.
MC came in allowing an average of 25.7 points per game this season. The defense really stepped up, holding the Bluejays well below their season average of 19.9 points scored per game.
When the two teams played each other last season, Mount Carmel came away with a 33-24 victory.
