Megan Henrich made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Addie Hoppel looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
Back at the plate, Ally Wright was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Carlee Crabtree also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Beaver Local always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Indian Creek's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against Beaver Local, falling 12-3. The matchup marked the Redskins' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Kylie Dray made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Aziah Ade, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Beaver Local's record now sits at 8-2. As for Indian Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Beaver Local hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .378. However, it's not like Indian Creek struggles in that department as they've averaged .382. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Beaver Local's way against Indian Creek in their previous meeting on Monday, as Beaver Local made off with a 12-3 win.
