Beachside's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kendall Kane, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 2 assists. The contest was Kane's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Madilyn (Madi) Ray, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
The win was the seventh in a row for Beachside, bringing their record for this year to 11-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points per game. As for St. Pius X Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
Beachside's road trip will continue as they head out to face Camden County at 5:00 p.m. on December 30th. Camden County will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. St. Pius X Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Menendez at 2:10 p.m. on December 30th. Menendez presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than St. Pius X Catholic in their respective states (Menendez is ranked 91st in Florida, while St. Pius X Catholic is ranked 249th in Georgia).
