Derrick Barton ran for six touchdowns to lift 
Shafter (Calif.) to a 63-7 defeat over Lindsay (Calif.). Thanks to the stand out performance the senior now has 11 touchdowns on the season.
The Generals were up 28-7 at the half after taking the lead on a defensive touchdown in the first quarter.
Shafter expanded its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. SHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Barton.
The Generals got 12 points from its defense on the way to victory.
The Cardinals' Jacob Hernandez was the standout player for his team. He ran for one touchdown. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
Lindsay's lone touchdown came on a 1-yard run by Hernandez in the first quarter.
With the win Shafter extended its winning streak to four games.
In a South Sequoia game next week Shafter (4-0) takes on Kennedy, and Lindsay (1-2) will go up against Fowler in a non-conference game.
