Sutter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Naseem Bhatti, who scored 15 points. Bhatti has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jagger Beck, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds.
Sutter's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Wheatland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.
Sutter will be playing in front of their home fans against Center at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Terrill Reid and Beck. As for Wheatland, they will head out on the road to square off against Twelve Bridges at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Twelve Bridges' favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Wheatland has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
