The Halls Red Devils were the 65-58 winner over the Heritage Mountaineers when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. Halls fell 64-56 to Heritage on Monday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Evan Workman, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Workman set a new season high mark in rebounds with seven. Another player making a difference was Jake Lane, who scored 13 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Halls and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Heritage, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.
Halls will head out on the road to face off against South-Doyle at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Heritage won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Loudon at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th.
