Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Bloomfield should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will look to defend their home turf against Livingston at 7:00 PM. Livingston will be strutting in after a victory while Bloomfield will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Bloomfield fought the good fight in their overtime game last Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the team lost 18-19 to Orange. Bloomfield got a solid performance out of senior Kyle Tice, who passed for 262 yards and 3 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win. Tice has now scored at least one touchdown in the past 5 games.
Meanwhile, Livingston dodged a bullet, finishing off West Orange 13-12.
The last time the two teams met, Bloomfield and Livingston were almost perfectly matched up the last time the two teams met, but Bloomfield suffered an agonizing 26-27 loss. Maybe Bloomfield will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back on MaxPreps for all the details.
