The Northview Knights's four-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Friday. They walked away with a 52-44 victory over North Putnam. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Northview has managed all season.
Northview found their leader in underclassman Brayden Goff, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Goff has scored at least 25% of Northview's points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Fowler, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Northview's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3. As for North Putnam, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Northview will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Parke Heritage at 2:30 p.m. on December 26th. North Putnam won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Indian Creek at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. One thing working in Indian Creek's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
