It was a good run, but the Pinecrest Prep Crocs unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost to BridgePrep Village Green on the road by a decisive 61-44 margin. Pinecrest Prep has not had much luck with BridgePrep Village Green recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Several Crocs' players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jason Cesar, who scored 12 points. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. Gabriel Guzman was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
Pinecrest Prep's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-5. As for BridgePrep Village Green, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Pinecrest Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Mater Brickell Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 20th. As for BridgePrep Village Green, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Abundant Life Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Hopefully Abundant Life Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Tuesday.
