Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Blum). They blew past the Covington Owls 11-2 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Owls: they've now won five in a row.

Blum's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Covington, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3-2 record.

Coincidentally, Blum and Covington will both be playing Milford the next time they take the field. Covington will host Milford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Blum will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
