Basketball Recap: Vanguard Christian Skates Past New Covenant Christian with Ease

Vanguard Christian posted their biggest win since December 15, 2023 on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat New Covenant Christian 63-10. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 back in January.

Vanguard Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from David McDonald, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 boards. That's the most points McDonald has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Postell, who posted eight points and eight rebounds.

Vanguard Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 36 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Vanguard Christian's record is now 17-4. As for New Covenant Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Vanguard Christian will be playing at home against Calvary Chapel Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
