The Carlson Marauders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 57-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lincoln Park. Carlson has struggled against Lincoln Park recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Several Marauders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brendan Stanley, who scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds. Stanley scored a full 36.7% of Carlson's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Lavis, who scored 8 points along with 8 assists.
Carlson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lincoln Park, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Carlson will head out on the road to face off against Trenton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln Park, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Anderson at 7:00 p.m.
