Basketball Recap: Palm Grove Christian Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Palm Grove Christian won the last time they faced West Gate Christian Academy, and Carter Baker did his part to make sure it happened again. The Palm Grove Christian Gators simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the West Gate Christian Academy Patriots 84-31 thanks in part to Baker, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game.

Justin Schrock was another key player, going 5 of 7 on his way to 11 points and six steals. He is becoming a predictor of Palm Grove Christian's success: when he posts at least three steals the team is 4-2 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
