Eldorado hasn't had much luck against Pinecrest Academy Cadence recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Firehawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m.
On Tuesday, Eldorado came up short against Cheyenne and fell 3-1. While the Firehawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Desert Shields 25-20 in the first set.
Eldorado started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-21, 25-10, 25-22.
Pinecrest Academy Cadence not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Lincoln County with a sharp 3-0 victory.
Pinecrest Academy Cadence didn't let Lincoln County take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-22.
Eldorado better focus on containing Isabelle Arnold and Kaitlyn Davis as the pair were huge in Pinecrest Academy Cadence's win. Arnold had 27 digs and one assist, while Davis had 12 digs. That's the most digs Davis has posted over her last 14 matches.
Pinecrest Academy Cadence's win bumped their record up to 18-16. As for Eldorado, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.
