Pine-Richland and Taylor Allderdice are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2016, but not for long. The Pine-Richland Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Taylor Allderdice Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Last Friday, Pine-Richland came up short against Moon Area and fell 62-50.
Meanwhile, Taylor Allderdice scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top against Avonworth by a score of 79-69. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Major Rainey and Logan Golle were among the main playmakers for Taylor Allderdice as the former scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and the latter scored 25 points. That's the first time this season that Rainey pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Pavle Slepcev, who scored two points along with 14 rebounds and six assists.
Pine-Richland now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Taylor Allderdice, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Pine-Richland came up short against Taylor Allderdice in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 68-59. Thankfully for Pine-Richland, Ethan Anish (who scored 22 points along with six rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
