Meanwhile, the Comets couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 21 to nothing heading into the break. The Tigers put the matchup away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and seven points allowed from the defense.
The Tigers will go up against Mayfield in continuing playoff action on Friday. Mayfield has averaged 45.45 points over the course of their past 11 games, so the Tigers might be in for a challenge. West Carter's playoff loss brings an end to their season.
