Basketball Recap: Logan Murrell Key Part of a Team Effort in Bulldogs Win

Barker lost to Kendall back in December of 2021, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Barker Bulldogs walked away with a 67-55 win over the Kendall Eagles. With that victory, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 51.7 points per game.

Barker's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Murrell, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Taliaferro, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Barker and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Barker and Finney will round out the year against one another at at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kendall, they will be taking part in a tournament against Global Concepts at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
