The Kentridge Chargers will face off against the Stadium Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kentridge will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Stadium's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Wednesday: Kentridge hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Chargers' pitcher stepped up to hand Kentwood a 3-0 shutout on Monday.

Not much got past Jozi Thompson, who gave up just two hits and racked up 19 Ks to keep Kentwood off the board. Thompson has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Genesis Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kenzie Coble, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Stadium was able to grind out a solid win over Mt. Rainier on Monday, taking the game 5-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.
Izzy Galindo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks.
On the hitting side, Kate Erickson was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March.
Stadium's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Kentridge, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
Wednesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Kentridge hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .325. However, it's not like Stadium struggles in that department as they've averaged .316. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Kentridge might still be hurting after the 11-5 defeat they got from Stadium in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Chargers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
