Having just played yesterday, the Latino College Preparatory Academy Golden Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Apostles Lutheran Falcons at 7:45 p.m. on January 19th. Latino College Preparatory Academy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
On Thursday, Latino College Preparatory Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-47 to Cindy Avitia.
Apostles Lutheran suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They took a serious blow against Basis Independent Silicon Valley, falling 83-40. Apostles Lutheran was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-24.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Lamek Medhanie, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremy Bork, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Latino College Preparatory Academy now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Apostles Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
