The Onsted Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 29 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 64-23 victory over Hudson at home. That looming 64-23 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Onsted yet this season.
Ayden Davis was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Onsted's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Gerken, who scored ten points.
Onsted now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Hudson, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Onsted will take on Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Madison has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests. As for Hudson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hillsdale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hillsdale presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hudson in Michigan (Hillsdale is ranked 114th, while Hudson is ranked 372nd).
