Gared Wood Dazzles in Italy Win
Gared Wood was instrumental in extending Italy's winning streak to six on Friday. Axtell had no answer to Wood as he rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. Wood really tore up the turf during one magnificent 93-yard run.
Wood must have Axtell's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Wood rushed for 240 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 96 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Longhorns duked it out back in October of 2023.

Mays Posts Huge Game in 62-33 Loss
While Itasca might've come up empty on Friday, Heath Mays wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the defeat, Mays was still balling out as he rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns.
