They were the clear victor by a 72-48 margin over Somerville. Fans of Lynn English have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Lynn English got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Denzell Guillen out in front who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds. The matchup was Guillen's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carmelo Buese, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds.
Everett's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0. As for Lynn English, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Everett lost to Lynn English on the road by a decisive 74-56 margin in their previous matchup back in February. Can Everett avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
