Cypress Bay hasn't lost a match since November 13th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They put the hurt on the Suncoast Chargers with a sharp 5-1 victory. The Lightning might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by four goals or more this season.

Cypress Bay's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four matches. As for Suncoast, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cypress Bay will take on Western in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Cypress Bay's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Western's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Suncoast, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Treasure Coast at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
