Cypress Ridge hasn't had much luck against Jersey Village recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Cypress Ridge Rams are taking a road trip to  take on the Jersey Village Falcons  at 6:00  p.m. Cypress Ridge will be strutting in after a  victory while Jersey Village will be coming in after a  defeat.
Cypress Ridge took a loss when they played away from home  last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  last Friday. They blew past Northbrook 7-1. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  win against them.
 Ariel Arambula made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Arambula was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and one  triple. That  triple marked the first that  she  hit this season.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Priscilla Garza, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  runs. Another player making a difference was  Edelin Barrios, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Jersey Village came up short against  Waller on Tuesday, falling  15-5.
  Jordyn Rosales was cooking despite her team's loss,   going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jordyn Battise, who  went 1-for-2 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Jersey Village has  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record  this season. Cypress Ridge's  victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-9.
 Cypress Ridge suffered a grim  12-3 defeat to Jersey Village  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024. Can Cypress Ridge avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
