The Paradise Honors Panthers will be taking part in a tournament against the Ralston Valley Mustangs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Paradise Honors is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Last Tuesday, Paradise Honors got the win against Shadow Mountain by a conclusive 17-4. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won five matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Kade Ashton looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March of 2024.
On the hitting side, Paradise Honors got a massive performance out of Noah Rodriguez, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Rodriguez also put up a triple, which was his first of the season. Joshua Green Jr. was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
Paradise Honors was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in seven consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Ralston Valley had just enough and edged out Galena 3-2 on Friday.
Ralston Valley also got a great performance from Winston Patterson as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. What's more, Patterson posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.
At the plate, Ralston Valley's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cole Pfeifer, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.
Paradise Honors' win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.the team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team won's by an average of 8.8 runs thus far As for Ralston Valley, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
