You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Tindley on Saturday. Everything went their way against the KIPP Legacy Lions as the Tindley Tigers made off with a 47-23 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Tindley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rihanna Peay, who posted 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. Those six assists gave Peay a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ariauanna Hall, who scored 15 points along with eight boards and five steals.

When it comes to explaining why KIPP Legacy lost, don't look at Nadiya Abdullah. Despite the final result, she put up 13 points. That was a full 56.5% of KIPP Legacy's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Tindley's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for KIPP Legacy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Tindley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 66-21 defeat against Purdue Polytechnic on the 22nd. KIPP Legacy has also already played their next contest, a 57-44 loss against Traders Point Christian on the 21st.
