Sequoia had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged out the Capuchino Mustangs 10-7. For the Ravens, this counts as revenge for the 27-3 victory the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Sequoia didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mario Fausto and Jayden Russi.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sequoia will head out to challenge Reno at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Capuchino, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
