Dixon extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 4-2. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Croatan Cougars. The team relied heavily on Nick Lacugna, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025.

On Croatan's side, Harrison Thomas put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Thomas has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Thomas wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Augie Morris, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Kayden Coutts also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
