Lamont Jackson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for C.A. Johnson, scoring 21 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games he's played. Jayden Guess was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five assists and two steals.
Riverwalk Academy's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-13. As for C.A. Johnson, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverwalk Academy will face off against the Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for C.A. Johnson, they will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Governor's School for Science & Math comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
