The Arickaree Bison will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Otis Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
After a string of four wins, Arickaree's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 72-64 to Idalia.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from AUSTIN WRIGHT, who scored 18 points along with two steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. JAKE KING was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Even though they lost, Arickaree were working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Idalia only racked up 11 assists.
Meanwhile, Otis scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 87-63 margin over Briggsdale. Otis has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 22 points or more this season.
Arickaree's loss dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Otis, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
