Westby might have drawn first blood against Prairie du Chien on Saturday, but it was Prairie du Chien who got the last laugh. It was close but no cigar for Westby as they fell 40-43 to Prairie du Chien.
The loss dropped Westby's record to 2-1. The win bumped Prairie du Chien's record up to 3-0.
Westby will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against River Valley at 7:00 PM. As for Prairie du Chien, they will face off against Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau.
