It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Colquitt County Packers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 38-19 victory over Westlake. Colquitt County's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Colquitt County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ramsey Dennis, who rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Neko Fann, who threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns.
Colquitt County has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 12-0 record. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.18 points. As for Westlake, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
Colquitt County will head out on the road to face off against Milton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Milton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matchups -- so hopefully Colquitt County likes a good challenge. Westlake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
