The Falmouth Navigators were the 64-48 winner over the Westbrook Blue Blazes when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Falmouth took a 44-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westbrook on Monday.
Kylie Young was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Hall , who scored six points along with four steals.
Falmouth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Westbrook, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Falmouth will be home for the holidays to greet Deering at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Westbrook will be home for the holidays to greet Gray-New Gloucester at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
