 It was another big night for  Zac Winters, who  went 10 for 22  en route to 31 points. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 15.5  points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of  Haden Maloney, who  posted six points along with six  rebounds and four  blocks.
 Meanwhile, Mansfield Christian came tearing into  Saturday's  game with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   73-61  victory over the Trojans.
 Mansfield Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Lucas, their victory  ended  a  seven-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-12.
 Lucas came up short against Mansfield Christian in their previous matchup  back in December of 2024, falling  58-50. Can Lucas avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
