Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln Prep). They blew past the Valley Lutheran Flames 45-9 on Monday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 25-5.

Lincoln Prep moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Valley Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln Prep will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Santa Cruz Valley at 5:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Valley Lutheran, they will head out on the road to take on Madison Highland Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
