Volleyball Recap: Cypress Lake Extends Winning Streak to Two

Lehigh came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Cypress Lake, but Kiara Olivares wouldn't allow it. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lightning on Tuesday with plenty of help from Olivares, who had seven aces and four digs. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Cypress Lake not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lehigh between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-17.

The victory made it two in a row for Cypress Lake and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Lehigh, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cypress Lake will challenge Fort Myers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lehigh, they will face off against Gateway at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
