Beavercreek moved up to 143 from 217 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Greater Western Ohio - Central. The Beavers were able to make the jump by defeating Springfield 35-20.
Wayne took down Centerville 26-10 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Beavercreek's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Beavers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Michael Berry has thrown for 35 yards and one touchdown this season, while Alex Arias has two catches for 18 yards. Travis McAfee leads the league in rushing with 222 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Warriors take on Fairmont. Wayne is in first place, while the Firebirds are in fifth place.
There should be lots of points scored when Beavercreek and the Elks face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Scott Clodfelter's team comes in having scored 90 this season, while Centerville has scored 108. The Beavers scored 35 points last week as they topped the Wildcats.
Beavercreek made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,182 from 3,412. The improvement was the result of 35-20 victory over Springfield last week.
