Volleyball Recap: ALA - Gilbert North Falls Short Against Ranked Westwood

ALA - Gilbert North faced Westwood in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Warriors.

Ian Walker paced ALA - Gilbert North's offense, picking up six kills. Walker got some help from Ethan Smith and his 15 assists. Jackson Andersen controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

ALA - Gilbert North's defeat dropped their record down to 25-5. As for Westwood, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.

ALA - Gilbert North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Perry on the 19th. As for Westwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Desert Ridge on the 19th.
