Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wadley). They blew past the Loachapoka Indians 20-5 on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Wadley got a massive performance out of Daizja Thomas, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Thomas has posted since back in February. Kaleah Sheppard was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Wadley's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Loachapoka, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
