After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pella Christian, Lynnville-Sully was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the English Valleys Bears an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won four games by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win got Lynnville-Sully back to even at 6-6. As for English Valleys, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
